Why We Created This Program

At Starttech Ventures, we know that becoming a parent is one of life’s most important milestones and also one of the most challenging. Parenthood can bring joy, but also financial strain, time pressures, and uncertainty about balancing family with career.
That’s why we designed a holistic parenthood support program:
to make sure our people feel encouraged, supported, and empowered to grow their families without fear of losing career opportunities or work-life balance.

What We Offer

Our benefits cover every stage of the parenthood journey,
from planning and fertility, to childbirth, adoption, and childcare:

  • Fertility Support: Coverage for fertility treatments, assisted reproduction, or egg/sperm freezing. Includes an annual expert session on fertility and parenthood.
  • Adoption & Surrogacy Support: Coverage for adoption or surrogacy expenses.
  • Financial Support for New Parents: 
    • Upon childbirth.
    • For essential baby-related purchases.
  • Parental Leave: 

    • Fully paid leave for mothers.
    • Fully paid leave for secondary caregivers.
  • Flexibility at Work: 

    • Option to work fully remote or part-time for 3 months.
    • Additional emergency leave for child-related matters.
  • Childcare Support: 

    • Childcare allowance (daycare, nanny, etc.) until age 5.
    • For school supplies through high school.

A Founder-Led Vision

This initiative was born from personal experience. Dimitris Tsingos, founder of Starttech Ventures, and Vangelis Michalopoulos, co-founder and CEO of Yodeck, both became fathers later in life and deeply understood the challenges new parents face, from financial burdens to lack of support networks.

Their vision was clear: build companies where no employee feels alone in the journey to parenthood. The parenthood support program is a direct reflection of that vision, a workplace where people are encouraged to thrive as both professionals and parents.
