The Lean In EU WBA Pitching Battles Part 3 is upon us!

November’s event marks the third round of the Greek Lean In EU WBAs Pitching Battles. We hosted previous rounds in June, and there were eight impressive startups involved during an inspiring event. The winners of that contest were: 1st place: ΑΓΩ – Augmented Reality system aiming to train people struggling with phobias overcome them by facing them in a virtual but realistic world.

Also, back in February we hosted the first round which was another action-packed session. On that occasion, KalaΘos – a web platform which facilitates online collaboration between sellers of fresh produce and traders, focusing on quality and traceability – came out on top. With eight more talented startups and some of Europe’s leading authorities on hand delivering key note speeches, both battles were all about great innovations, good vibes, and powerful investors.

We expect more of the same this time round.

The prizes

So why should you get involved? Well, you can win free startup mentoring for six months from us here at Starttech. Does that sound good? I thought so.

Not only that, you will get the chance to win a place (all expenses covered) to take part in the International Pitching Battle Final on December 11, 2018 in Modena, Italy for the Best Female Lean In EU WBAs Community Startup of 2018. The second and third placed startups will gain access to virtual mentoring services from Starttech Ventures’ Venture Building team.

The virtual acceleration services period will consist of bi-weekly calls, guidance on how to use Lean Canvas, how to set actionable metrics, how to do build-measure-learn cycles. The winning startups’ product or service must meet our criteria of being B2B software-based, and targeting north America and/or north-west Europe.
